The novel

A contemporary conspiracy thriller asking whether a defeated ideology can redesign itself for another century.

Set across Holland, Germany, Argentina and Italy.

Back in Holland after his Russian mission, Chudo Barends is pulled toward a new architecture of extremism. A renowned geneticist, a neo-Nazi network, old family secrets and suspicious deals lead his team from Germany to Argentina and Italy. What begins as an investigation into lineage becomes a race against an organisation preparing for the future.

Chudo returns home intending to leave intelligence work behind. Instead, the investigation reconnects him with the NARC and with people from his former life, while evidence points toward Werner Wulf, international extremist networks and the geneticist Albrecht von Steinhauer.

Inside the story

The trail moves through modern procurement schemes, old escape routes, ODESSA connections and carefully protected estates. The conspiracy does not survive by nostalgia alone; it adapts finance, technology and biological science to contemporary power.

As Chudo, Jolanda and Yuri map the network, the mission expands beyond one heir or one organisation. The final threat is an architecture designed to make democratic allies distrust one another—and to hide the hand shaping the fracture.
